NCTE Recruitment 2020 : National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) invites online application form from the eligible candidates for the post of Assistant: 03 posts, Stenographer Grade ‘C’: 03 posts, Stenographer Grade ‘D’: 06 posts, Data Entry Operator (DEO): 01 post, Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 05 posts.

Candidates who completed Degree/ 12th are eligible to apply for this job.

The selection process is based on the Computer Based Test (CBT)/ Skill Test (Shorthand Test, Typing Test, Computer Proficiency Test). Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at (www.ncte.gov.in) website on or before 19 September 2020.

Educational Qualification


Assistant :

  • A degree from a recognized university

Stenographer Grade ‘C’:

  • 10+2 from a recognized Board or University.
  • A speed of 100 words per minutes in English/Hindi Shorthand.
  • Skill of Data Entry and Word Processing in computer.

Stenographer Grade ‘D’:

  • 12th class pass from a recognized Board or University
  • Skill Test Norms Dictation: 10 mts. @ 80 w.p.m. Transcription: 65 mts. (Eng.) 75 mts. (Hindi) (On Manual Typewriter) Or 50 mts. (Eng.). 65 mts. (Hindi) (On Computer)

Data Entry Operator (DEO):

  • 10+2 from a recognized Board / University.
  • Should possess a speed of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour for Data Entry Work.

Lower Division Clerk (LDC):

  • 10+2 from a recognized Board or University.
  • A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
  • Knowledge of working on computer.
  • Skill Test Norms ‘only on computers

Age Limit (as on 19.09.2020):

  • Assistant: 20 to 27 years
  • Stenographer/Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 18 to 27 years
  • Data Entry Operator (DEO): 18 to 25 years

Upper age limit is relaxable by:

  • SC/ ST – 5 years
  • OBC – 3 years
  • Persons with disabilities – 10 years

Post-Wise Vacancies


  • Assistant : 03 posts

Salary Details


  • Assistant/ Stenographer Grade ‘C’: Level 6 (Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400)
  • Stenographer Grade ‘D’/ Data Entry Operator (DEO): Level 4 (Rs. 25,500 – 81,100)
  • Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Level 2 (Rs. 19,900 – 63,200)

Selection Process


Assistant:

  • Selection will be based on the Computer Based Test/Examination followed by Skill Test (Computer Proficiency Test)

Stenographer Grade ‘C’/Stenographer Grade ‘D’:

  • Selection will be based on the Computer Based Test/Examination followed by Skill Test (Shorthand Test, Typing Test, Computer Proficiency Test)

Data Entry Operator (DEO)/Lower Division Clerk (LDC):

  • Selection will be based on the Computer Based Test/Examination followed by Skill Test (Typing Test, Computer Proficiency Test)

Note:

  • The candidates are required to qualify typing test and secure minimum 40% marks in Computer Proficiency Test.
  • There will be no interview for all the posts
  • There will be No Negative Marking in the online exam for all posts.

Application Fee


  • Assistant/ Stenographer Grade ‘C’: Rs. 1,250/-
  • Stenographer Grade ‘D’/ Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Rs.1000/-

Note: No fee is required to be paid by candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/Women / Ex-Servicemen categories and NCTE employees

Mode of Payment : Through online mode i.e. Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking etc.
